I recently found out about Kit's passing. While at Lakeland I played baseball and football with Kit. There are many stories I could tell about the time I spent with Kit...all great. Kit was a fun person to be around, and I am proud to call him a friend. I am on the road much of the time in my profession, and I think back to those times we had with other people from Lakeland. I know Kit lived his life full, and was instilled with great memories and joy. Please except my condolence.

Carmen and children,Kirb,Mike and Brian and families---Julie and I are deeply saddened to learn of Kit's passing. I will always remember the great pride Kirb displayed when he spoke of Kit. Chuck Thomson's reference to Kit as the toughest guy around mirrors Kirb's story of the Lakeland coach calling him their hardest/best tackler. More important and by all accounts, he was a loving dad, husband, friend, son and brother. Our prayers are with you all. Paul and Julie Hass

Kit, was one of a kind !! His smile would light up a room! He was a friend I'll always carry with me. In all our years together we never had a bad day. I was so looking forward to his coming to our retired VW&R retired golf outing this year. You can be sure HE WILL be there with me on the first Tee. God took him a little early and I'm going to complain a little about that at a few masses! Farewell to a friend who will always be missed.
